The concept of Ubuntu is often summarised as “I am because we are,” highlighting the importance of relationships and community in shaping our identities and experiences. This painting was inspired by the Nguni language family of Southern Africa. It translates to humanity towards others. A philosophy that emphasises compassion, kindness, and interconnectedness. This beautiful woman promotes harmony, cooperation, and mutual support. Valuing the well-being and dignity of others.
